My friend walked in brimming with good news, the long-awaited visit to the Ortho yielded great results.

“I sat in that waiting room forever, hearing people schedule surgery, shots, PT, and followups, I thought for sure I was gonna be one of those,” she said with her eyes widening. “Then the Doc told me it was weakness, same thing as before. No followup needed, not even a cortisone shot.”

Yep, the prescription was simply: HOME EXERCISE!

“But I haven’t had time,” my friend confessed, “I haven’t had time to look over the sheets and figure out what I’m supposed to do.”

That’s the hard part, right?

And that’s why it’s good to reach for Pilates or PT, someone who can help you put the pieces into logical order so you can take the physical medicine every day.

Over and over, I see folks who stick with their exercises get better. They recover from almost any type of injury faster; they also get to know their bodies better.

Plan the exercise, exercise the plan, get better, move on. Need help? Reach out. Life good.
