The most important reason to do Pilates is to find what keeps you coming back to your mat!

This week I decided to ask my clients what keeps them coming back to Pilates.
“I’m stronger,” said one, while another responded she feels so much better with her back in alignment after a Reformer workout.
My youngest client surprised me by naming the long list of benefits she gets from Pilates, including, preventing the flare-ups that first brought her to the studio, faster recovery time in her other workouts, and just overall feeling so much better.
“I know if we do a session, I’m going to work out any glitches I’ve fallen into during the week,” said the Mom of two young girls.
How about you? What keeps you coming back?
There’s lots of levels in Pilates, and it is a system of exercise you can do for the rest of your life. While there’s many reasons people practice Pilates, the most important one is what keeps you coming back to your mat.
