Work Out Your Immune System This Winter

As we slog through omicron, here’s a good reminder from a recent Psychology Today article, “Regular physical activity maintains immunity. You can stay immunologically fit.” Movement is medicine, after all, and we need to do it regularly for best results.

 

And don’t forget those vital vitamins. Do you know what works in winter?

 

Fresh, bright colored fruits and vegetables that bring extra Vitamin C, D, A and Zinc to your diet.

Those other tools you carry in your wellness arsenal such as Vitamin C,  Vitamin D, and Zinc, bolster it even further.

The article points out nearly 50% of us don’t get enough C, 95% don’t get enough Vitamin D, and Zinc really does ward off the hold of a cold (and hopefully COVID).

Let’s fill up on staying strong and healthy by addressing what we need and using all these great tools to manage the slings and arrows of germs and microbes right outside the door.
