After celebrating my 63rd Halloween birthday, I find myself having more fun than ever.

That’s what life is all about, isn’t it?

Having more fun, taking more chances, and creating more great memories for ourselves.

There’s plenty of time to take our work – and our workouts – seriously, then it’s time to kick up our heels, don our masks, and let go.

Listen to what Megan Mullaly said in a magazine interview, “I’m more sure of myself now than I was 30 years ago. I’ve learned there’s no such thing as ‘too old’ to pursue things that inspire me. In fact, you can do whatever you want to do for as long as you want to do it.”

So let’s do it.

Let’s all start doing things we’ve been waiting and wanting to try.

Birthdays, after all, remind us of how important it is to stop and smell roses, eat candy, and enjoy a generous slice of cake. There’s plenty of Mondays to catch up and get back on track. Let’s not wait to start living, let’s start living now.
